Big event. We removed the anti-skid floor mats from the kitchen today. Those have been here since last fall to protect Kaiju’s knees. He runs around in the house once in a while, and we did not want him to slip and re-injure himself. We decided to put those away because Kaiju’s knees seem pretty steady, despite the appearance, and he no longer runs around in the house with the same craziness. For the first time in nearly a year, we can actually see the floor of the kitchen!
