Sigh. So sad. The 11-day stretch of vacation is done as of today. We are both going back to work tomorrow. No more daily day-time outing with Kaiju… for the next 4 days. SIGH…
At Rock Meadow today, Kaiju had lots and lots of zoomies.
WOW! This top pic is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! I love it! I must admit that the 5 minute breaks I take at work to look at your pics makes me want to play with my dogs so much! I just wish our two shibas could have dog dates like yours. Too aggressive 🙁
Thank you! Yah, that photo turned out great (I never know until I take it out and look at it on the bigger screen). You know, there are so many things we can’t do with our Kaiju that we wish we could do, too. Like, going to get coffee in the morning to a cafe with him, or just roaming around with him in nearby squares. Or going to a backyard BBQ party at friend’s with Kaiju and enjoying the afternoon. Because of his fearfulness, our activities outside of our small apartment are very limited to either “very rural” areas or big parks or dog parks. We look at other dogs that walk around with their owners with no issues with very strong envy. Oh well… right?
Yeah, I know what you mean. When we had Kaila, our first shiba, we took her everywhere. Coffee shops, family gatherings, dog parks…now with both of them, we’re really limited. And he’s so aggressive, it’s always a bit of a risk so we have to keep him away from everyone. It’s sad, but at the same time, the time we get to spend with him on our own keeps us from missing that too much. And we slowly make baby steps. He’s had issues with being in the car, and tonight, I actually got him in my lap in the back seat. And that would be basic to some, but is so big to me.
