"NOOOOOO!!!" said humans. "LEAVE IT KAIJU!!" Why? I found it. It was mine. I put it in my mouth and ran away when they came near me to grab it. Hah!

I heard humans open MY drawer (it's filled with my treats), so I came running here. I've sat, and been a very good dog. But instead of giving me the yummy bully twist, they've placed it on the edge of the drawer, and walked away to go back to whatever they were doing before.

I know it's my drawer, but it still is very suspicious. I want the bully twist so much, but I just don't know what I can do to get it.

Staring and whining normally make one of the humans come and help, but it hasn't worked.

They look over this way once in while, laugh, and say "You can do it, Kaiju!" and that's it.

I'm so lost. All I want is this thing to fall into my mouth. HUFF!

Vermont with many humans

It was my humom's birthday weekend. She wanted to be skiing, so we joined her friends in Vermont for two nights.

There were total of 9 other humans. I had met 6 of them before. Very nice people. But still, they got together and made a lot of noise in the kitchen, shuffling stuff around, laughing and drinking. So I basically stayed in my room on the 2nd floor, on my bed, when I wasn't asked to come down to the first floor where people were.

Outside of the house, there was a huge field of soft and fluffy snow! I loved my walks. Unfortunately, I had to go through the kitchen to get outside. When it came to the time to walk, I ran through it and kept myself as close to the glass sliding door to the porch as possible. It was about 1Fº outside and the humans took forever to get ready. Me? no need for gloves or jackets! My paws got cold a bit, but after moving around for a while, it was fine.

On the 2nd day, June the Whippet came (she brought her humans too!). I felt suddenly a lot more at ease about everything. I came down stairs to play with her, and explored the house while following her around. I played with her lots, too, but only on rugs. Every human was all "wow, he's a different dog now that June's here!"

On the 3rd day, my humans and some others stayed at home and didn't go skiing. I gave one of them a licking wet spot, but in return, I had to endure some petting, snuggling, and costuming.

We also went walking in the woods. Humans put some weird stuff on their feet. They are so funny. They need to put so many things on them in order to go outside.

I love going to snowy countries! I'm hoping the next trip up will be just us, though. And I hope they will stay with me the entire time.

When hudad came back home tonight, I only moved my eye lids and nothing else. Normally, I would run to the door, wag my tail, fold back my ears, jump on to him, to greet him.

Can we go back away from the city, again, tomorrow?

Because Kaiju can be a major sour-puss very frequently due to his fearfulness, when he is excited and happy, it feels so amazing. We just can't get enough of it!

The Cottage

The place we are staying is weird. It's octagon-shaped, and has very high ceilings.

I'm suspicious of the ceiling fan that's always on, and the porch makes weird squeaky noises.

The humans leave me here for hours to go "skiing". I heard the owner of this cottage offer to check up on me while they are away. I'm not sure what their response to that was. The guy seems nice. He may even give me treats?

I'm mostly on the bed in the bedroom, or the couch on the living room. I can't relax on the floor.

And when I'm on the couch with my humans, I'm extra cuddly here, to their delight.

I heard we are going to come back here in 3 weeks. I guess I won't mind that just because the outside is so awesome.

Maine is fun when humans are around

Humans and I are in this place called "Maine" for the weekend. I definitely don't like that they leave me in the cottage for hours to play in the snow without me. I have been here before some years ago, but this is not my home, so I don't like being here alone.

When they come back and take me out for a walk, though it is soooo pawsome. I can't stop my tail from bouncing, and I just go wild!

The fun in the snow just keeps on coming. Humom is off from work for days and days, so they take me out to a fun place every single day. I hope this continues forever.
