I am a big boy now! (so they tell me)

This, on the right, is one of the presents. I like it a lot. Especially the rope. They hide treats inside of those green and purple parts, and I’m supposed to take them out. I definitely like digging my teeth and tongue into them and finding treats. But I like the rope the most, to chew on! Not sure why they seem a bit disappointed about that.

I also got a lot of treats. Some from Japan. Some from here.

They also gave me a “hamburger”. It was good, and I ate all of it… but… I dunno. When the hoomans were having hamburgers before, I remember they definitely smelled a whole lot better. Maybe next year, I will get the hooman-kind of hamburgers.

Good night!

AND now that it’s past midnight, it is my Birthday! My hoomans just sang me a birthday song. I hope they’ll also remember to give me gifts!

I spent last week on Long Island! It was so much fun… I love it there!

Every day, I would wake up, go out to the backyard, dig holes in the ground, and wait for someone to come play with me! It’s way more fun out there with company. On Friday I got a pawsome surprise, as Shio and Goo Goo came over to play!

(Here is the post about the fun visit on Shio’s blog. )

Knox’s people and we had been in touch for a while, even before they got him. They were going to get a puppy from the same breeder Kaiju came from. Then, because of some unfortunate circumstances, they had to go to another. Meanwhile, our breeder recommended that they get in touch with us, and so they did.

Knox’s family lives in this pretty seaside town north of Boston. It is really a nice little town with a beautiful beach. It would have been nice, too, if we had met up in town, but because of how bad Kaiju is in urban environments, we decided to meet on the beach.

Kaiju hasn’t been doing well in his scarediness department for the past few weeks. The routine walks that were slowly but surely getting better suddenly worsened. He had not trembled for a long time, but now he sits and shakes staring away from the direction we want to go.

We contacted our behaviorist, and she gave us a go on upping the dosage of his daily medication. So we’ll try that. We will also give him a complete break from routine walks during weekends. Instead, we’ll drive him to parks, just like we did this weekend.

He’s a happy camper at home. We had a guest last weekend whom Kaiju had never met before. He got used to the guest quite fast, and ended up pestering him for treats, like a normal dog.

We take comfort in the fact that he is comfortable and happy where he spends most of his time.

biiiig park this morning. small dog park this evening. i’ve not walked the regular route this weekend. why can’t every day be like this.

June’s human wanted to pet me, but you see, it’s not that easy.

I made up for it, though. I was a really good pal to June for rest of the stay at the park.

We shared my water bowl! I let her cuz she’s my furriend.

She said “thanks!” and I said “noooo problem!”

I don’t mind it. I don’t even hate the taste. But if they are just trying to give me the treat, what is with the scrubby thing they put in my mouth? I just don’t get it…
